Nashville - Freshwater Fishing Report

Last Friday I took Terry out on Piercy Priest for a half day trip. The fishing has been tough out there lately due to the unseasonably warm weather, but he managed to kill it out there, catching a mixed bag of largemouth and white bass! We focused on fishing flats around the Fate Sanders area. Fish were busting the surface everywhere, but were very much dialed in to the small shad that seemed to be all over the place. Lipless crankbaits caught a few around the schooling fish. When we were in areas with less bait, shakey head worms were working well. I did my best to show him a few new techniques as well as spots to fish. I'm sure I learned just as much from him, as he did from me. He's definitely a damn good fisherman who knows the lake well.
