Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report
LAKE LBJ
LARGEMOUTH have moved out and are suspending in 8'-12'
during a frontal passage. Look for them to retunr to
flats in 2'-6' along boat docks and in brushpiles on creek channels. Early mornings a 1/8 oz. white or silver Terminator buzzbait, plastic jerkbait or 2" Creme Lit'l Fishie Shad are good. Later go to an electric blue Scoundrel
worm on wacky rigs, Ice Tea Creme Super Tube or white 1/8 oz. Terminator spinnerbait.
CANYON LAKE
LARGEMOUTH are fair to good on an early morning bite along chunk rock banks with laydowns and stumps using blue/silver
1/8 oz. Terminator buzzbaits, white Terminator spinnerbaits
or clear Rat-L-Tops in 2'-6' of water. Later work 8'-16'with Ice Tea or crawdad Creme Super Tubes or Ice Tea
Scoundrel worms right against trees.
SMALLMOUTH are fair in deeper pockets on smokin' green Creme Devil's Tongues on split shot rigs, Minnie Bucket pumpkin Kapalia grubs in 10'-20'.

We offer 1/2 and full day rates on most lakes. Price includes everything necessary for fishing. Trips are prioced for 2 anglers. Additional charge for a third person.
