Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

CANYON LAKE

Water muddy; 64 degrees; 12' above normal pool: No fishermen out. All park ramps closed - County parks open. LARGEMOUTH fair in 4'-8' on bright colored Terminator spinnerbaits, chartreuse 4" Super Tubes and Firetiger crankbaits.

STRIPERS fair on live and cut bait.

WHITE BASS slow

CRAPPIE slow

LAKE LBJ:

Water high and muddy from 3 miles up the Colorado to the dam; 63.8 degrees:

LARGEMOUTH fair if you can find any water that isn't chocolate milk on black/blue/red fleck 7" worms and bright colored crankbaits fished in 4'-12' of water along docks.

LAKE BUCHANAN

Water stained; 63 degrees; 1013.39' LARGEMOUTH are fair in 6-12' using black/red fleck Scremer worms, slow-rolling a 1 oz. silver shad Terminator spinnerbait.

STRIPERS fair on live or cut bait.

WHITE BASS fair trolling No. 5 shad raps and casting a No 3 Terminator In-Line Spinner.
