Eagle Mountain Lake Catfish 12/31/13

Capt. Chad Ferguson
January 2, 2014
Eagle Mountain Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Fishing has improved this week despite the crazy weather. We've had another run of very warm days with temperatures in the low 70's and some cooler nights which has sent the shad into confusion yet again.

There's another front passing through today and temps aren't expected to get above freezing tomorrow.

Despite the crazy weather the fish are biting and we continue to catch good numbers of trophy class blue catfish.

We've caught fish as shallow as 3 feet and in the deepest part of the lake as well over the past few days. Find the bait and you'll find the fish.

Fresh cat shad is the best like all fishing for blue catfish.
