Eagle Mountain Lake Week Ending 5/8/2011

Capt. Chad Ferguson
May 8, 2011
Eagle Mountain Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Blue catfish bite has slowed down some this week. With the cold front it messed up fishing for a few days but began to get better later in the week. The weekend trips produced excellent numbers of blue catfish up to 15 pounds. White bass are still biting as well. I expect the blue catfish bite to continue to be good for another week or two before it slows and by then the channel catfish bite will have picked up. White bass will continue to be good to excellent through the summer.
