This past week we have spent many hours in the back lakes and Bays of West Galveston. Lots of speckled trout and redfish are being caught on plastics and live shrimp. Fishing 4 - 8 foot of water and tidal movement is the key.

The Galveston Jetties are beginning to see sheepshead spawning activity, and will continue to get better as we move thru the month of February.

Flounder Gigging in Galveston has been good when conditions are right. Clean water, and some tidal flow is key.

We are gearing up for Spring Break in Galveston, and as usual the fishing is shaping up to be prime for our spring break fisherman and women.
