Galveston - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing over the past 2-3 weeks has been pretty tough. The wind hasn't given us a chance to really stay in the areas where the fish are. We continually have to adjust to the high winds from day to day.
Now when it has been decent weather, we have been catching some very nice trout and a handful of reds. On most of our trips we have been using live shrimp under a popping cork for best results.
Hopefully the wind will start to lay and that should really help us have more consistent trips. I will be moving around the lower Galveston areas and fishing in West bay over the next month or so. I will also start using some live croaker within the next 2 weeks.
I will try to post another report within a couple of weeks. It should only get better as we get closer to the summer months. Here are a few pics from recent trips. Until next time, see you on the water.
