Lake Champlain - Freshwater Fishing Report

The early morning Lake Trout & Salmon fishing has been steady with the thermocline still down about 50-60 ft over 200 ft of water. Dark color spoons in Blue, purple & green stingers & Honeybees taking thier fair share! Fishing coming on Riggers & slide Divers each day!,
We have been running a few evening trips each week for Bass, both Smallies & Largemouths coming on Top water baits like Zara Sppoks & Topedos. Tossing Senkos in Greenpumpkin & Purple aslo works well before the sun gets low! We still have some dates left over the next few weeks!
Lake Champlain Fishing Forecast:

We will be headed out to Lake Ontario in mid August for three weeks in search of King Salmon! The reports from Lake O' have been off the charts so far this summer! Lets hope the Kings are angry & hungry in the coming weeks! We still have lots of fall dates open in Sept & October for bass....they should be putting the feed bag on as the water cools so give us a shout!
Target Species:

King & Coho Salmon
