How to Add an Image Under Your Username - Avatars

Postby RudyGomez » Wed Mar 12, 2003 12:49 pm

There may be two images below a username when viewing posts. The first is an image associated with your rank; on CyberAngler these take the form of Hooks indicating how many posts you have made or your status on the forums.

Below this may be a larger image known as an Avatar; this is generally unique or personal to each user. They can be cartoons or pictures - whatever you like. Avatars have been enabled and you can add them by editing you Profile. To access your profile, make sure you are logged in and use the Profile link at the top of any Forum page.

Near the bottom of the page you will notice a section called, Avatar Control Panel. You are given 2 options, (1) upload the image from your local hard drive, or (2) upload an image via its URL.

On CyberAngler, your avatar’s dimensions must not exceed 90 x 90 pixels, and its total file size must be less than 16 KB.

After you have successfully uploaded your avatar, it will appear under your username, next to every posting you make.
