Grounds Trip Successful

Postby fore962 » Fri Apr 13, 2007 9:35 am

Trip about 82 miles off clearwater to south grounds. Monday overnight and Tuesday all day (April 9th and 10th). Maxed out reds. One nice gag and one really nice gag. Big gag measured 28lbs. at about 42". Broutht in 30 mangrove snapper. Caught some progies and numerous other of size reds but had to pitch back b/c maxed out with bigger keepers. Seas were a bit rough monday with 8-10's, tuesday calmed a bit but still rough with rain most of the day.[/img]

In spite of the weather, it sounds like a great trip. Thanks for the report and welcome to the Forum!
