Made a scouting trip "Down Dularge" today with my good friend Ryan Young. We started the morning off looking for trout. Dirty water found all over Dularge, but we still were able to entice some NICE specks to indulge on our artificial baits. No scale, but the biggest trout measured 24 inches and was pretty thick. After being runoff by a ugly looking storm, we headed North in search of some reds. Needless to say we found them stacked up and we put the SMACK down on them in short order. Started off catching a few on spoons, but when we switched to the Tsunami's.....HOLD ON....it was just about every cast. These reds were HUNGRY and willing to eat up our offerings, it did not take long to put 10 on ice. Another good day spent with great company. Thanks Ryan, always a pleasure fishing with you.
