A great evening spent with wonderful people "Down Dularge" today. I had the pleasure of taking Barry & Vickie Benoit and Deb Green out this evening. Deb is here from Evergreen Colorado, supporting our eroding wetlands. What a wonderful person to come down and support the people of South Louisiana. It made the trip just seeing the excitement in her face as she was reeling in her fish.
My crew had a blast reeling in the Reds and even caught some puppy drum to fill the box up. Deb could not believe the size and the fight that the "BIG NASTY" drum put up!!! Vickie was in heaven reeling in the big brutes, but Barry won 1st prize as he caught the largest fish and the most reds.
I had a Great time with you guys, thanks for everything. Special thanks to Deb for sacrificing herself to help others in need. And last but not least....."Deb did DULARGE for the first time", and had the time of her life!!!!!!!
