I had the pleasure to fish with Benjamin Hebert today from the Baton Rouge area, our focus today was strictly on trout. We got a early start thinking we were going to work the yellow-mouths over at our first stop. Incredible sunrise today with Ben starting the morning off with a bent pole! Even though there was bait EVERYWHERE and awesome water clarity with moving water, our first stop only produced 7 keepers and multiple pecker trout (time to move)!!! Lots of miles put on the Blazer today searching for those elusive trout!!! Every stop today produced fish, only problem was no numbers. Some places only gave up 1-5 fish. Clean water everywhere I fished today with tons of bait everywhere. All fish today fell victim to Tsunami swim baits drifting over oyster reefs. Thank you Ben for the great company today. I look forward to our next trip this summer.

Summer trips booking fast, dont miss out!!!!
