had the pleasure today fishing with Rene G from Baton Rouge. Slower start today than yesterday as the wind really dampered our fishing. We got on the trout at our first stop putting a few on ice slow but steady. The Shrimp were skipping across the water with the birds and trout in hot pursuit. We did hit a couple schools slinging them in two at a time, but no good consistent action like yesterday. Todays wind played a big factor in our catch making it really tough. We gave up on the trout around 9-10 to hit the reds. We were able to put one limit of reds and a drum on ice before calling it a day by noon. Every fish caught on artificial baits as usual.
Great fishing with you today Rene, thanks for the great company.
