Gina & Peter Scholer from Merritt Island Florida joined me today. This couple drove down to sample our great fishing and were not disappointed one bit!!!! We started off the morning catching trout, no fast and furious action like yesterday though. It took some moving around today to finally locate the fish, but when we did we had them coming in on almost every-cast. Lots of 11 inch pecker trout today at our first stop, so we decided to move. We fished several other spots only picking up 2-6 fish at each location. Peter landed a nice 4# trout with the average fish being 1 1/2 pounds. With 40 trout on ice and several spanish mackerel my crew decided to leave the trout biting because they wanted to battle with some reds. We hit the marsh and ended up hooking up with 11 bronze back brutes, 1 flounder, and two more trout. It was pleasure fishing with you guys today, thank you. Thanks also to Capt. Bill Lake for making the trip happen.
