Joining me today were Ronny Sternfels, Scott Stephenson, and Jerry Kurzweg. 1st day in almost 3 weeks that I pull up to my honey hole and don't find shrimp jumping out the water as far as I can see (I knew something was wrong!!). Clean water and good tide was on my side though. We went to work and right away two of the guys hooked into BULL REDS, both their lines screaming as the big brutes were mad (Unfortunately both broke off). Back to the trout.....far and few between today as we had to actually work hard today to put a box together. Days like today surely make you appreciate the good days!!! T a n d e m rigged chubs caught every speck as usual today, clean water found at all locations. Thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for putting the trip together and to my crew for sticking it out in tough conditions.
