Today I had David Mccormack and Mike Thacker from Missouri aboard. These guys have been doing contract work in the New Orleans area helping rebuild ever since Katrina hit. They were looking to take a well deserving break and get out on the water to catch some reds, and that is just what they did. We ended up hooking 26 reds which 18 of those hit the deck and 10 made it to the chest. Lots of 15 inch redfish in the marsh right now. Most of the fish that spit the hook out were larger fish that would have made the chest. The fish we kept went from 16in - 27in, all caught on LSU chubs. The water in most of the ponds are crystal clear and you can see the reds in the water easily. The water is extremely high and you can get to areas that are usually inaccessible. Thanks guys, great time on the water with you.
