Day 2 with Don, Barry Hutcherson, and Ray Nichols from Texas was better than yesterday!!!! Our first two stops produced approx 100 trout, but only about 30 made the ice (they averaged 12-15 inches). Made a couple moves and found what we were looking for, 14-19 inch trout coming in the boat!! No fast and furious action like I like but steady. The water was clean again today in all locations and the trout were holding in 3-5 ft of water. We caught fish tight-lined with the LSU Chub, but the majority of fish were caught on a chartreuse beetle under a cork. Ended the day with 85 trout, 1 red, and 1 flounder. What a awesome day to be on the water, looking forward to day # 3 tomorrow.
