Dr John Stevenson and his dad Stan "The Redfish Man" Stevenson joined me today for a redfish slam!!! Stan really wore out the reds today, as he was hooked up as soon as I stopped the boat. Stan ended the day hooking into 8 redfish. We ended the day hooking up into 20 reds, keeping our limit of 15. Only 8 of our reds came from our first stop, as I had to resort to another honey hole to finish off the limit. It did not take long at all at our second stop to finish off our limit, as the reds were stacked up at the mouth of a ditch draining out the marsh!!! All reds fell victim to the LSU Chubs with gold spinners. The water was stained today, with only about a 2 ft visibility. All the reds averaged 17 - 24 inches. Not only did my crew have a great day red-fishing, they were able to get up close and personal with a few alligators, pooldu, nutria, garfish, etc. Thank you very much for another great day spent in paradise!!!!!
