Jerry, Jeremy Hairrell & Barry, Drew Savage from Oklahoma joined me today. These guys are serious about their fishing (usually for bass). This was their first time red fishing and what a trip they had!!! . Drew broke the ice early with a flounder, then Jerry was on a roll hooking 5 reds in a row. We had a little lull for a while then all of a sudden it was like someone flipped a switch!!! We put 8 fish in the box and had 4 others spit the hook, all in a 100 yard stretch. We had 35 hook ups, which 29 hit the deck and 25 made the Yeti. 25 reds, 1 bass, and 1 flounder was the final tally. Great group to fish with and hope to get them on some trout on Tuesday.
