I helped Capt. Bill Lake with Bayou Guide Service the last two days with a four man crew. Tough conditions yesterday, but my crew still managed to put 60 trout in the box. Today was another story as my guys smashed the trout. At our first stop it was non-stop action as they boxed 55 fish in about 30 min before the bite shut off. Made a couple moves picking about 20+ fish up at each stop, we had 100 fish in the box at 8:30 am. Our last stop is where we got on them good again and finished our 125 limit off at 10:00 am. All fish caught on tandem rigged plastics, don't waste your money on LIVE BAIT. Thank you guys for a great two days, and thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for putting the trip together.
