Made my first night trip of the year with Beau "The Trout Lip Ripper" & Michelle "The White Trout Slayer" Brooks and Shane Candies. My crew was pumped up and ready for a good trout slam while beating the heat......they got what they wanted!!! 30 minutes after getting set up is when Beau "The Lip Ripper" Brooks broke the ice!!! Beau was cranking the yellow-mouths in one after another. Shane got a late start reeling in trout, but made up on the head start he gave Beau!!! Michelle had the white trout coming in almost every cast, but finally broke the chain and got her a Speck. We called it a night when #75 hit the ice. We also kept 6 larger white trout, and must have thrown back at least 40. Every fish caught on plastic baits as usual. Great bunch to fish with as we had many laughs. Thanks guys for a great time, and look forward to fishing with you again.
