Dularge Trout Train 7-11-08

Postby Capt Marty » Wed Jul 16, 2008 1:44 pm

Don't get left at the dock, get on board the Dularge Trout Train!!!! I helped Capt. Bill Lake today with a three man crew. After picking the guys up from their camp, we were headed South. First couple stops only produced about 35 trout averaging 14-21 inches. It was not till 11:00 when the switch got turned ON!! Let me tell you we went from 35 fish to 80 fish in about 30 minutes. 1-2 fish every cast with quadruple hook-ups, talk about fun!! We stopped with 80 to head North to search for a few reds. Only made one drift and caught two of the smallest red fish I have ever seen. Guess they are learning what a LSU Chub is early!!!!! Looking forward to day 2 with this group tomorrow. Of course everything was caught on plastics. No need to waste money on live bait...save it for gas!!!LOL Thanks Capt. Bill for everything you do.
