Tough Day 7-18-08

Postby Capt Marty » Fri Aug 01, 2008 10:08 am

Brad Crook and Nick Todd joined me today. After hearing about the explosive bite yesterday, these guys were fired up. We had high expectations of a quick limit like yesterday, but we just could not make it happen. The tide never moved and the trout never turned on where we were. Fished numerous locations covering over 100 miles and never got on a bite. Lots of hard fishing today and not much catching. A total of 10 fish is what we ended the day with. Reds and trout combined. A day like today sure makes you appreciate the good days. Looking forward to a much better day tomorrow.

P.S. Good luck to you Nick, future Devil Dog.....OooRah
