Smashed The Reds Again 7-31-08

Postby Capt Marty » Fri Aug 01, 2008 10:14 am

Ryan Young and I had so much fun yesterday that we could not resist going back today. We started fishing at 3:30 and had our 10 reds in the boat by 6:00. We had to stop and run to the camp for 45 minutes to let a storm pass. Man oh man nothing better than the fight of a red fish peeling drag off your line. These reds are stacked up at "THE HOTSPOT"!!!! Caught them all on spoons today. Had one BLOW up on a top water bait and broke the line. The water is so clear that most of the time you can see the fish when it takes your bait...talk about exciting!!! Thanks again Ryan for a awesome afternoon of red fish slamming. The trout bite might be off right now, but the red fish bite is ON big time. Give me a call if you want in on this great action.

Just to let everyone know, I don't fish behind locked gates. The fish I catch are like all other true sport fisherman. There is a lot of BS going on with these people putting up gates and blocking off public water. Sure wish the CCA would step up to the plate and support us on this issue.

P.S. To the 1 or 2 HATERS out there, Jealousy is a evil thing.
