Whoooeeee!!! Man, what a awesome day on the water today bashing the yellow mouths and the reds. Had the great pleasure to fish with Robin Richerson from Mississippi today. We started off the morning slinging in the trout every cast with the beautiful sunrise in the background. Birds diving, shrimp jumping, trout in HOT pursuit!! These trout were on the small side ranging from 12-13 inch's, so we left them biting every cast to look for bigger fish. At our second stop we were putting some better fish in the box ranging from 14-15 inch's (not as many numbers though). I could see some birds diving in a canal in the distance, so we went check it out. WELL, we hit the mother load!!!! 16-17 inch trout every cast. The fish wanted it slow on the bottom (dragging it or just drifting in the current). Every fish caught on double tandem rigs like usual, Never a need to waste money on that live bait stuff here. After we finished with the trout we were off to BUST the reds. It did not take us long as it was one stop shopping!!! We found the reds stacked up in a cut draining out the marsh and put 10 in the boat real quick. After we had our limit on ice we caught a couple more and released them to fight another day. It just does not get any better than "DOWN DULARGE" . Thanks again Robin for the exceptional company fishing today.

The fishing is ON right now, give me a call to get in on this great action.
