Fishing Magician Charters
Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Raymond, his brother Archie, and Archie's son Peter, also their friend Perry.
The first stop we made was at Campo's Marina to pick up some dead shrimp and to say a friendly 'Good Morning' to F.J. and the boys. They are always glad to serve everyone.
Now that the MRGO is closed, we headed to Bay Eloi through: Bayou Loutre, Bakers Canal, to Bakers Bay. We were traveling at 35 mph from Campo's Marina to Lake Eloi and it only took us 28 minutes. It wasn't a bad ride. There were a few oyster fishermen traveling the bayous, but that wasn't a problem. And one good thing about it was that, when we got to Bay Eloi the fish were waiting.
The guys caught: 118 trout(12-18" range). I didn't have my camera on me, so I didn't get any pictures, but the guys did catch them. We will be back at it tomorrow.
All fish were caught 2' under a popping cork using Sparkle Beetle and Campo's dead shrimp.
