[b]Great day today catching the yellow-mouths with Roy Buchler and Mike Trahan. No fast and furious action today like the past two weeks as we had no tide movement this morning. Our first stop produced 24 trout and our second stop produced 31. Persistence paid off as it was a tough day today and the guys put together a real nice box of 55 fish. The guys threw in the towel at 11:00am as it was really HOT out there (no wind to speak of). I tried twisting their arms to stay since we were catching fish and could of finished our limit, but the guys insisted I take them to the dock!! I could not argue with them!!! So we left the fish biteing and headed in. As usual, every fish caught on tandem rigged chubs. No live bait needed. Big thanks to Capt. Joel Wakeland for taking care of Steve Cook and his girlfriend Karen. They finished up with a good box of 50 fish.
Thanks to my crew and Capt Bill Lake for putting the trip together.
