TROUT SLAM "Down Dularge" 7-15-

Postby Capt Marty » Thu Jul 16, 2009 8:40 pm

Slow day yesterday with Hoff Schooler and his family. Stiff West winds and stained water had the trout bite shutdown. Different day and conditions today for Tim & Tracy Barras and Earl Delahoussaye. After dodging one big shower and getting soaking wet from another, We found the trout stacked up at our second stop and commenced to maul dragging them every-cast after switching to the SECRET bait. YES, the trout did not want our tan d em rigged chubs today. We had to switch to a single rigged plastic bait and the trout could not get enough of them. It was "FISH ON" from the first experiment cast with the secret bait!!!!!! No live bait needed as usual. Thanks guys for another awesome trip for the books. Looking forward to our next trip in Nov.
