Another Great Day Catching Trout 11-12-08

Postby Capt Marty » Thu Nov 13, 2008 9:08 pm

Day 2 fishing with Dale, Daniel, and Paul. Picture perfect morning today as the lake was slick, no wind at all for the first 3 hours of fishing. Our first two stops again this morning did not produce, but the third stop was a charm!!!! Shrimp were jumping out the water with the trout in hot pursuit. The guys caught trout almost every cast for a good 2 1/2 hours straight. Even when the wind picked up to 20 mph + the trout were still biting. It was a catch & release day today as 250-300 trout (specks and white) hit the deck. The guys only kept 35 trout today as they had all they wanted from yesterday's trip. We made another quick drift picking up two reds before we called it a day at 10:30 to beat the rain. Thanks again to my crew for another exceptional day of fishing. Big thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for putting the trip together.
