Whos fishing this weekend?

Postby Peerfisher » Fri Mar 14, 2003 6:14 pm

Its spring break for me! Im fishing everyday.!! Tonight I am going to sleep at deerfield pier with some friends..try to get about a 400lb hammer that has been crusiing in the light...If anyone can take a shark bait out for us it would be great..In return we will give you live bait..We will be on channel 68..Last week not much caught off the pier...But the week before i got two keepr kings a bonito and about a 350lb bull shark on my 6/0..Not much else except two more shark cut offs..Anyone else fishing this weekend?

you swim I follow Im feeling my head sink
so as to reach and touch what hurts me
still I try to reach and touch what hurts me

What do you do with the sharks you catch? IOW, How do you land one of these monsters from a pier? Do you beach it? Do you kill it?

99% of my sharks i just bring next to the pier and cut the line after a few pictures but if we want to keep it we cant beach it its illegal here so we get about 4 bridge gaffs and everyoen on the pier and try to lift it up 20ft onto the pier
