Captain Jim Hobales was born and raised in South Florida. In the early years he learned to fish his home waters of Miami's Biscayne Bay and the Florida Keys. In the early 1980's he was introduced to Flamingo, at Everglades National Park, it was a life changing experience. Captain Jim became obsessed with the fishing in both Florida Bay as well as Whitewater Bay in the backcountry. Captain Jim is an Everglades National Park permitted guide and a Met registered guide.

I provide inshore & near shore light tackle sport fishing out of Lanark Village, Florida from Alligator Point to Dog Island to St. George Island. I specialize in trout, redfish, mackerel & tarpon. Sightseeing & scalloping trips are also available.

Island Charters is based in the Lower Keys on Cudjoe Key at mile marker 21. Light Tackle Fishing the backcountry, the reef and wrecks and offshore from Key West to the Seven Mile bridge to include Bahia Honda, Big Pine Key, Little Palm Island, Ramrod Key, Summerland Key, Cudjoe Key, and Sugarloaf Key.

South Florida Peacock Bass & Largemouth Bass guide service from Lake Okeechobee south to the Florida Everglades including Ft. Lauderdale and Miami for Peacock Bass. We also arrange trips to the Amazon for big Peacock Bass.

Capt. Alan Sherman is Coast Guard Licensed and Insured and specializes in No pressure calm water light tackle fishing in the prestine waters of North & South Biscayne Bay, Offshore and Flamingo in Everglades National Park from his 2005 22' Pathinfinder Bay Boat named "Get Em", powered by a 2006 Yamaha V MAX 200 hp outboard engine. The "Get Em" is loaded with all updated features and all fishing tackle is top of the line. The "Get Em" targets tarpon, snook, redfish, sharks, sea trout, dolphin,etc
