Olcott Fishing Derby

A fun affordable fishing tournament held by The Boat Doctors & Slippery Sinker in Olcott, NY. It is a weekly tournament and costs just $20 per boat for a week. ALL prize money is paid back to the entrants. There is a salmon division and a trout division. Each year the winner of the biggest fish during the season will become the Logo Guy. Willacy County Young Farmers Annual Tournament

May 23-24, 2008 - Port Mansfield, Texas

This community service organization will be holding its fishing tournament from 6 p.m. Friday, May 23, to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at Pt. Mansfield, Texas. Will have bay and offshore divisions. Bay entries are $20 per angler, offshore $75 per boat (up to 4 anglers). There will be big fish pots for most species. A percentage of the bay entry fees will be donated to the "Teach the Children" organization, while the remainder funds various community service activities throughout the year.

32nd Annual Exchange Club Blue Water Open Offshore Charity Fishing Tournament

May 24, 2008 - Fort Pierce, Florida

This annual tournament, the Treasure Coast’s oldest, runs out of Fort Pierce Inlet. Registration 6:00 pm Friday, May 23, tournament starts 6:30 am May 24. First prize is $1500 each for dolphin, grouper, and kingfish. Second prize is $750; third prize is $500 in each category. Top Boat Award is $1000. Net proceeds are donated to local youth-related charities for prevention of child abuse. Cost is $150 until May 15, $200 after.

Lake Ontario ProAm Tournament - Niagara

May 31 - June 27, 2008 - Olcott & Wilson, New York

The first of four in a series. Located along New York’s south shore of Lake Ontario, the Lake Ontario Pro-Am Series.The format for the tournament is peculiar in that it’s a team event based on ten points per fish and a point per pound, stretched out over two days of fishing. The teams with the highest point totals earn some great prizes, as well as the prestige of placing high in one of the most competitive events on the Great Lakes.
