Inshore/nearshore report Jacksonville area waters - March, in my experience, marks the end of winter and the transition to a summer pattern. We will still have cold fronts, northeasters,rainy and windy days, but fewer and less severe than in February.

Nice mix of fish in the backcountry and the Gulf. - Boy, have we had a beautiful run of weather over the past several days. 80 degree daytime temperatures have brought the water temps up in the Gulf and the back bays. We've also had calm winds so the water color has improved.
