Rivers are iced up now - Well, we have alot of hard water this time of year. Sorry I have not been able to keep you updated, but, like I reported to you before, we had to spend 6 weeks in Billings at the Cancer Center as the wife had to be treated their.

Great early fall fishing on Gallatin river - Hi everyone,
The night time temps are cooler, and the water is cold thru out the day. The fishing is holding up longer, as the fish are more active. Flows are good. Hoppers are still working, along with the usual attractor nymphs.

Gallatin fishing very well - Hi All

Cool Spring weather, but good fishing. - Try the Gallatin river. Early Spring can be good fishing. I like to use some bigger bugs like Rubber Legs, and all the good Buggar patters. Black and Brown Flashabuggars work good. For small nymphs, I will go with a Prince or a Lightning Bug. (All Be more...
