Dularge Trout and Redfish SLAM 9-26-08

Postby Capt Marty » Fri Sep 26, 2008 10:01 pm

Helped out Capt. Bill Lake today with a five man crew. Danny White and Steve Buckles fished with me. One stop is all it took to put over 200 trout in the boat. Once we got the guys limit of 50 keepers we were going to quit and go get our reds. Well we ended up putting a few more in the box before we called it quits. The trout and shrimp were stacked as we were catching fish every cast. Still lots of small throwbacks, but it is sure fun to catch them two at a time every cast!!!! At 9 am we left them biting to go catch reds. We had to work for our reds today as they were not stacked up where I was. The guys ended the day with their limit of 10 reds all caught on artificial baits. Saw plenty reds swim by the boat and turn their nose at our offerings. Great weather, company, and fishing. Thanks guys for another great day "Down Dularge". Thanks Capt Bill for setting up the trip.
