Early Mullet Run - Seems the finger mullet are showing up early this year which is fine by me. Last year was a different story with heavy releases from Lake Okeechobee which dropped salinity and slowed down the mullet run which normally kicks in early September.

Mack Attack - In the last few weeks, the Spanish mackerel bite has improved with larger mackerel running 3-5 lbs. and hitting on Gulfstream minnow jigs. Best bite is normally after 10am. There are also some snappers and sheepshead outside along the reefs.
