amberjack on spin tackle - Fishing has been real productive with this water temp rising everything is biting. A little disapointed with the size of red snapper in shallow water off destin alot of 2 to 3 pound fish a month ago there were all averaging 5 to 7 pounds. Jack fishin more... Capt. King Mackerel and AJ' s trolling inshore Destin Fl. - Caught alot of pretty Kings and Amberjack live bait trolling inshore over sunken ships off destin west of the pass using threadfin herring and common herring on the down rigger set at 45 feet. Redfish and Trout Starting to Chew on the Grass Flats - Starting to catch some nice speckled trout and redfish on grass flats in the bay on pilchards and top dog juniors first thing in the morning before the wind starts to blow. Bull reds at the destin bridge - Sunday May 3rd on an incoming tide the day before the split, neap tide we tore up the redfish all bulls. King mackerel are savage outside destin's east pass - Live bait trolling the last two days starting april 28th, outside destin's east pass very productive alot of 10 to 12 pound kings some in the 18 to 20 lb class. Also nice spanish mixed in with them 3 to 5 lb class. Using cigar minows and herring has more... Capt. Brian Santos - Destin
