Spring Salmon moving into Fall season

Capt. David Mierkey
July 6, 2009
Klamath River - Freshwater Fishing Report

The spring salmon season is just about over and we will be moving into the summer steelhead and fall salmon season at the end of July. The summer steelhead run is usually plentiful with several fish being taken on each trip. From about mid-August we will start catching both steelhead and fall chinook and will only improve from that point on. We are looking at a huge run this year so now it the time to book a trip and get into the action.
