Tsunami warnings, wind, rain and tailers - the theme of last week was cancellations. It started last weekend with a tsunami warning [the first one in years for hawaii] that turned into a complete dud. I guess i can't complain about losing a charter when i could have lost my place of residence more...

9 lb Hawaiian Bonefish on the Fly - Super low tide made conditions tough but we have

Hawaii Bonefishing stays Hot - I must admit, i had no idea that oahu, hawaii would be the place to be for wintertime bonefishing. The action has remained constant with just the occasional front to put a damper on things. Capt. Duffield has gotten very creative and it has paid off more...

Perfect weather keeps the action nonstop - All i can say is WOW! The weather and fishing has been as good as it gets. The lack of cold fronts and wind has the tailing bonefish in an ideal pattern. With the proper tide, the action is non-stop. Three to five tails can be spotted at once and the more...
