New Haven Tog

Capt. Pat Juliano
April 23, 2008
New Haven - Saltwater Fishing Report

We Have had a decent week with Tog at the New Haven Walls. The Morning bite has been alot stronger than the afternoon but we have been able to limit out or come very close to the limit on all trip. Most fish have weighed in between 4-6 pounds with a few in the 8 pound area. Captain Mike has done a great job and we still have a few openings before the close of the Tog season. Its only going to get better as the close of the season approaches. The Hot bait has been Asian Crabs and we have plenty of them.

New Haven Fishing Forecast:

We expect to see the large striped bass move in around mid May. We already have plenty of Schoolie action in and around the harbor and bunker has been showing up the past few weeks.
