Striped Bass Are Picking Up In New Haven Harbor - Captain Mike has been doing alot of scouting trips the past week. Last evening He started to see the action We have been waiting for. Bunker were thick and the Keeper Bass were hitting.

New Haven Ct Harbor Bass Trip - Last Evening Captain Mike Made our first Striped Bass Trip of the year. He had a couple of other local Captains on board. They hit all the early season spots and only ended up with a few shorts.

New Haven Harbor, Guilford & Stratford - The past week things have started to heat up. Pretty much anywhere you go along the coast line you can find plenty of surface action. Blues have been feeding heavy on peanut bunker.

New Haven Harbor, Guilford & Stratford - The fishing in New Haven is still on the slow side. There is still top water blues almost every evening. I had a trip On Saturday morning. We tried a long shot and went for Blackfish. I have been wanting to give it a shot before the season closes.

There are reports of bunker showing up here and there but I haven’t been able to confirm them. There have been schools of peanut bunker with Blues in the 3-5 pound range feeding more... Capt.
