Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had good weather and bad since the end of July, but all of our August trips have been productive. It appears that many local folks have suddenly realized that summer is on the wane, and they want to get in one last trip before everyone's vacation comes to an end.
My Bonnie has been going out almost every day, with a few double headers on weekends. Around the Norwalk Islands the striped bass catch is in the schoolie range, with larger fish being caught on the New York side of L.I. Sound. All our passengers have enjoyed bringing in small stripers and sea bass, large porgies, some keeper fluke, and some bluefish caught on the surface.
