Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's great to be back on L.I. Sound after so many months of Florida fishing, most of which was uneventful. We launched our boat on Mother's Day, and we did some scouting with another local captain last week.

Our first passengers this spring were John Harushak and Dave Bergeron of Stamford. We worked around Norwalk and Westport, bringing in eight striped bass and one fluke, all of which were released.

Water temps are 52-54šin most areas--still a bit cool for this time of year--but as temps rise we should see the arrival of bluefish and more fluke.
