Lots of Porgies, Sea Bass, and Bluefish out there...

Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've been out several times since our last report. Our clients have been bringing in huge porgies and lots of keeper sea bass as well as midsized bluefish. Not many large striped bass are being caught during the day, but some fishermen are getting them during evening or very early morning trips.

We're looking forward to the fall migration, which usually produces very large bluefish and even some lunker stripers. These are the fish that everyone wants to catch and photograph, but they're not in our area yet.
