Porgies, Fluke and small Sea Bass....

Capt. Sal Tardella
September 19, 2013
Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We're still waiting for the arrival of large bluefish and striped bass. Since they're not nearby right now, we're happy to supply our passengers with their fill of large porgies, fluke, lots of sea bass with an occasional keeper--as well as bluefish up to five pounds. We also get some schoolie bass, but few keepers right now.

Temperatures have begun to drop in our area, and we're hoping the change will attract the larger fish that everyone's hoping to catch before it's time to pull our boats out of the water.
