Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We fished on Friday afternoon with Marc Pfefferle of Westport, who was hosting business colleagues– a Tom Donnelly of Pound Ridge, Dana Klein of Darien and Craig Winslow of Stamford. The party enjoyed a mixed bag of keeper porgies, schoolie stripers and bluefish up to 12 pounds.
On Saturday morning we left the dock at 7:30am with New Canaanites, Doug Wisner and his son, Steve. We made our way toward the middle of the Sound, where we found a school of small bluefish, jigging up a bunch in the 3-4 pound range. When the bite slacked off we finished the day inshore with lots of keeper porgies up to 14″.
