Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report
We racked the Hydra-Sports bay boat on March 31 and returned from Sebastian, Florida, two weeks ago. However, because of a delay in the installation of a new 225HP 4-stroke Yamaha engine on our home-base vessel, a 25-foot C-Sport, we’re not yet back in the water on Long Island Sound. We hope to be in by next weekend.
There have been reports of some stripers being caught around the power plants. Flounder fishing is slow to middlin’ as the water temperature is still on the low side, with the last readings coming in around the mid-40’s.
As soon as we've tested the waters for ourselves, we'll tell everyone what's happening firsthand.
Light tackle fishing in Long Island Sound May through November. Targeting striped bass, bluefish, porgies, fluke. 25-foot C-Hawk customized sportsfisherman with fully-enclosed pilot house.
Fishing in Florida December through early April. For Sebastian fishing information, please see FLORIDA FISHING page at: www.mybonniecharters.com
