Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report
We had some bad weather this week and were concerned about the possibility of a drastic change in the fishes' patterns after a two-day blow and some heavy rain.
However, on Saturday morning we had aboard Roger Eustance of Wilton and his two children, Abby and Ryan--plus his nephew, Erin Koen of New York City--returning to us after their very successful trip a year ago. It was chilly and quite windy, so we stayed inside and fished for porgies, doing very well with the scup coming in up to 15". As the winds subsided we made our way out to 11B, and--on the last part of the tide--and had great success, with slammer blues up to 10 pounds.
