Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had another busman's holiday on Monday--with our favorite mate, Emilio Pandolfi of Danbury. Everything was perfect--weather, winds, temperature--and we jigged up a ton of bluefish and just as many bass (up to 27", no keepers in the lot) at 11B and the OB--right through low tide. The fall migration is definitely upon us!
Next week I'll be pulling our boat out of the water to prepare her for her winter hiatus. Then, right after Thanksgiving, Bonnie (the wife, not the boat!) and I be driving down to central Florida, and our Indian River/Sebastian Inlet charters will begin within a couple of weeks thereafter. If you'll also be southbound over the next few months, you might want to check out the FLORIDA FISHING info on my web site; we'll be in Sebastian until the middle of April 2008.
I want to say "Thank You!" to all of my clients who've chosen to fish aboard "My Bonnie" throughout the '07 season. I wish all of them (and all of you who regularly read my reports) a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season. Please stay in touch by watching for winter fishing reports from Florida, which should be popping up around the middle of December.
